Broad River Trail Run

Course Description
We are bringing back the 5K this year! As usual, both races will begin at the Ranger Station, runners will use Riverside Drive to spread out, then down to the River Trail passing by the playground.
10 mile course heads west along the River Trail, right on Wild Turkey Trail, left on Flint Hill, right on College Farm, cross the creek and left on Running Cedar, follow the gravel road back to the gate, left on the Sandy Run Trail, right on Chestnut Oak, cross the gravel road and back on the Running Cedar Trail, right on College Farm, cross the creek, cross the power line, right on Flint Hill, right on Nicholsonville to the campground, follow the River Trail back, and finish at the playground.
5K course is out and back along the River Trail. Participants will start after the 10 milers.
Packet Pick-Up
Friday 3-7pm at the Ranger Station, 126 Broad River Road, Shelby, NC
The Broad River Greenway is a 1500 acre preserve owned by Cleveland County and managed by a non-profit Board. The course follows a natural surface trail along the Broad River.
