Fast Feet's 10K training program is a 5-month training program for all levels of runners who are looking to build endurance and train for the next level of competition. The group meets each week for a coach-led long run. Long runs are held each Saturday beginning at 7 a.m. at the Fort Mill YMCA in Baxter Village. Additional weekly runs are offered depending on the athlete's pace and current fitness level. Each athlete will also receive a weekly training program. In addition to group runs, clinics will be offered throughout the training program on proper footwear, proper training methods, nutrition, strength and injury prevention, track and speed workouts, and a form clinic. Support via email and onsite will be offered to each athlete from an RRCA certified running coach and personal trainer. Pace groups for all levels starting at 8-minute miles all the way to 13-minute mile walk/run groups.
Start Date: Cooper River Bridge Run training will begin in December/January and that will be offered along with a destination package. Location: Meets each Saturday either at the Fort Mill YMCA in Baxter Village. Cost: More details to follow Ages: 14 and up Fast Feet 5 Mile/10K:
