The Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force will celebrate forty years since the initial enlistment of women in the year 2020. In light of this, the Chief of Defence Staff launched the Military Women’s Initiative in commemoration of this achievement. Therefore, the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force will host their very first Charity 5K Walk/Run to acknowledge this auspicious milestone in the Defence Force’s history.
The theme of this event is
“LEAVING NO WOMAN BEHIND”.
Most importantly, all proceeds go towards a subsequent event under this ambit to support a women’s charity in recognition of the International day for the Elimination of Violence against women

Dress Code:
- No micro shorts
- Torsos must be completely covered
- No transparent clothing
Security at the Military base reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone deemed inappropriately dressed.
Course Map
The race will start at the Army Reserves Camp and proceed counter-clockwise around the golf course road. It will end at the reserves camp.
