9th Annual Erik Hite Foundation Fallen Officer Memorial 5k + Family Event Important Information!
This
event will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 6:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Reid Park. We will be at
Ramada 20 & 22. Northwest corner of Country Club & Camino Campestre.
Use the Concert Pl Entrance off of Country Club. Please take at the attached
map to see where we will be located as well as where parking will be available.
Join
us for a morning of family, food, honor, exercise, music, prizes,
raffles and much more! Sign up on a team, by yourself or with your friends and
family! There will be something for everyone in the family! Don't miss out on

Registration payment must be made by September 25th to guarantee an event t-shirt at packet pick up. Online registration closes October 8th at midnight! Registration will still be available at packet pick up locations or at the event.

Event T-Shirts
For participants ages 16 and over (age on day of event), an event t-shirt is included in the registration fee.
For participants ages 15 and under, registration is free without an event t-shirt. If you with to purchase a youth event t-shirt, the cost is $15.

The traveling trophy could be yours!
If you are the team captain or leader, you must be the first person to register for your team.

Race Day Information
Where should I go?
Reid Park, Ramada 20 & 22. Located by Country Club & 22nd St. We will be located in the northwest corner of the park. Look for the Concert Place entrance.
What time should I arrive?
6:45am - day of registration begins.
Where should I park?
There will be two places for public parking: one is located off Camino Campestre and the other is located off Country Club. Both parking lots are near the event. Please use extreme caution and patience when entering the parking areas.
Where do I go when I get there?
If you still need to register for event, head to Ramada 20. Proceed to starting line 10 minutes prior to race time.
What is the schedule for the events?
7:30 am – Opening Ceremony
8:00 am – 5K Run
8:15 am – 2 Mile Walk
9:00 am – Kid’s Race
How do I know where to run?
There will be directional arrows to help guide you along the course. There will also be mile markers on the course. We will have large maps detailing both courses at packet pick-up and at the event.
Water Stations?
There will be two water stations on the course: one will be at 22nd & Randolph and the other at Camino Campestre & Bossard Place. You will pass the Camino Campestre & Bossard Place water station twice. This allows everyone to have three opportunities to get water during the race.
What do I do when I cross the finish line?
When you cross the finish line grab yourself some water and complimentary breakfast provided by East Lawns Cemetery. The race results, final ceremony, and awards will begin around 9:30am.
Please feel free to also enjoy music, raffles, massages and other activities provided by vendors that we will have there!
Results?
The results for the race will be available after the race at the event. Or you will be able to view them on our website later in the evening.
