Synovus Iron Joe Turkey Ride |
Sunday 01 December 2019 |
The Synovus Iron Joe Turkey Ride presented by Fit & Fuel Cafe is Naples’ Sunday-after-Thanksgiving cycling tradition. In its 15th year, the event is named in honor of bicycle advocate and world-class Iron Man triathlete Joe Bonness. Joe is one of the original founders and past presidents of Naples Pathways Coalition. The revelry begins and ends in the side lot of Fit & Fuel Bicycle Café in the Pavilion Shopping Center on Vanderbilt Beach Road. There are fully supported rides for all levels – 62 , 40, 20 miles - and a 5 mile Family Fun Ride with a new scavenger hunt this year! E-bikes are welcome and encouraged. The 5 mile Family Fun Ride is FREE for kids 12 and under with a paid adult. For the longer distances, youth 17 and under just pay $20 with a paid adult on the same distance ride. Proceeds from the event help fund the work of the Naples Pathways Coalition and the Paradise Coast Trail. |

Weather Cancellation Policies
This is a Rain or Shine event. No refunds or transfers.
The safety of our participants and volunteers is our most important concern and if any of the threatening weather conditions are present the day of the event (tornado warning, tornado watch, thunderstorm, heavy rain or a hurricane decides to visit), the event may be delayed or canceled.
When weather conditions or other physical conditions present a danger to participants, such conditions fall under the label “acts of mother nature,” it will not result in refunding of any event entry fees or future event credits, since funds were already spent in preparation for your event day.
