Canicross & Dogless Fun Run:
The day kicks off with a fun run in Mapleton Park. Canicross and dogless runners will have the opportunity to run through the beautiful north end woods with start and finish at Mapleton Park's Gorge Road Entrance. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest canicross and dogless runners and timing (non-chip) will be available for all pre-registered runners!
All proceeds from the fun run will go to Fulfilling Hearts Rescue to help them in their mission to rehabilitate, train and re-home abandoned dogs. Please consider signing up or donating on Race Roster to help us support this amazing group of local heroes!
Demo Day!
Following the run, Velo Bike Ski Trail and the Moncton Dog Runners Club will be on hand to provide demos of different harness dog sports, talk about gear, and answer all your questions about getting out and being active with your dog! You’ll even have a chance to WIN a free spot in MDR’s next intro to harness dog sports class PLUS tons of great door prizes!
