Crisis Nursery creates an "Island of Safety" dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect by providing 24-hour emergency care for children and support to strengthen families in crisis.
Raise Money for Crisis Nursery!
Crisis Nursery depends on generous donations from individuals and businesses to ensure our doors stay open 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. Having the opportunity to participate in the Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon as a charity running partner helps us raise funds to continue to prevent child abuse and neglect in Champaign County. At Crisis Nursery, we believe that asking for help is a sign of strength.
When at full capacity, it costs $1,800 to run a 24-hour day at the Nursery. Our goal for this year’s Illinois Marathon is to raise $12,000 -- enough to support an entire week at the Nursery. Thank you for taking a part in helping achieve this goal! Each and every dollar raised will support our Safe Children and Strong Families programs, and will provide programs and services to local children and families in crisis.
