Help us raise money

For participating in Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon Race Weekend 2020

Our story…

Welcome to Champaign County Humane Society's Run/Walk for Homeless Animals Fundraising Campaign as part of the 2020 Illinois Marathon! Our fundraising goal as an Illinois Marathon Charity Running Partner is $10,000. This amount funds the entire shelter for FOUR DAYS. The Champaign County Humane Society is the only open-admission shelter in our area. Being open-admission means that we accept animals despite their age, medical condition, and adoptability. As an independent charitable organization, CCHS's name reflects our geographic location only. We are not a county agency, and we are not supported by tax dollars. We are not affiliated with any national animal welfare organization. Can you support the homeless animals in Champaign County by donating to and/or fundraising for our shelter? With support from people like you, CCHS was able to help 1,340 homeless animals find their "furever" homes in 2019.
