261 Fearless Club - Texas Hill Country

We are a female-specific running community that focuses on the fun, social, non-competitive side of running. Women of all ability train together, support and encourage each other through running inspired activities and games.  Unlike a traditional running club we do not focus on pace, time or distance.  

The number 261 is Kathrine Switer's bib number from the 1967 Boston Marathon. She protected that bib while an angry race director attacked her in the second mile and tried to rip the numbers off her shirt. He was infuriated that a women had entered his race, declaring that it was a men's only event.
