My Story…
Hi
As many of you know, I have spent the last 20 years with CF as a major focus of my research lab. It has been a tremendously rewarding time for me personally and for the CF community. Amazing progress has been made, led by the tireless effort of the CF Foundation, CF patients and their families, and clinical and research personnel.
Over the last decade a number of new drugs have been approved by the FDA, providing therapeutic benefit to a growing number of patients. However, the work is not finished. There are still CF patients that do not respond to the current therapies and ongoing research is focussed on bringing them therapeutic relief.
Please join me in supporting the CF Foundation and the CF community by contributing to me as a member of Team CF as I run the Pittsburgh half marathon in May.

The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care.
