My Story…
I am once again very excited to be a part of the Ruben Rukus! This year with a virtual 8 week challenge I will competing and sharing my journey along the way with videos and pictures on social media. Every year I participate as I know there are less fortunate children around the world who don’t have the same chances in life as I do. Education is at the heart of this and I hope that what I can do to support will help in someway.
Description
We have over 200 students enrolled in our Elementary School in the Dominican Republic, but like you, they are growing up FAST! So we have started to build a Secondary School for them down the street from our Elementary School. We need your help! 100% of your pledges will go towards the build of our new school. Here's what your pledge money will buy:
$50 will provide a student with a desk
$65 will purchase a classroom window
$100 will purchase a classroom fan, it's hot in the Dominican Republic!
$200 will be used to purchase and install a classroom door
