Help Brittney raise money

I've chosen to fundraise for the Heart & Stroke Foundation in honour of my grandfather. When he was 75 he had a massive heart attack while working in the bush and walked himself back to his truck then drove to his colleague down a logging road so that they could get him to the hospital. He is the strongest man I know! My grandfather continues to have regular heart and pacemaker checks and we are so grateful to still have him with us but so many others are lost or lose quality of life following a heart attack or stroke. Working in acute care, combined with my personal experience has made me passionate about heart attack and stroke prevention through healthy lifestyle choices. Like most people, I stumble along the way and running in the TC 10K is just another way that I'm trying to ensure I take care of my own health. I am not a runner by nature but by showing your support for this great organization I know that I will be motivated to give it my all on April 26th!
