The Arc Grand Prix Run at Watkins Glen International is a 3.4 mile footrace on the internationally acclaimed motor racing track in Watkins Glen, New York in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. The event includes a 1-mile "Pit Road Walk" for those who would prefer to walk a shorter distance.

Additional shirts may be pre-purchased through this option for $15 each short sleeved option and $20 long-sleeved option.

The Courses
Participants may choose to register for:
1) The Track: This 3.4-mile course is the full distance of the WGI race track and includes “the boot”. This is a timed course.
2) The Pit Road – This is a 1-mile course intended for those who would prefer to run or walk a short distance, but still want an “up close and personal” view of a portion of the full track. The course includes a view of Victory Lane then loops back to the finish line via Pit Road. Participants will not cross the timing mat but will end at the finish line along with participants of The Track course. There is no timing for this course.

Registration for The Arc Grand Prix Run at Watkins Glen International 2020 opens October 4, 2019.
October 4 - December 31: The price is $25 for adults (ages 13+) and $15 for youth (ages 5 - 12).
January 1 - March 13: The price increases to $30 for adults (ages 13+) and $15 for youth (ages 5 - 12).
Participants under 5 are permitted at no charge, but will not receive a race shirt unless registered and paid by March 13.
Early registration ends March 13, 2020.
After March 13: Prices are $35 for adults (ages 13+) and $20 for youth (ages 5 – 12).
Race day registration is available starting at 6:30 am. The race starts at 8:00 am. Race day registration prices are $35 for adults (ages 13+) and $20 for youth (ages 5 – 12).
Awards
This is an inclusive and fun race, so whether you’re a novice or expert runner, a walker, or somewhere in between, we’re thrilled to welcome you! When you sign up for The Track (3.4 mile) course, you are eligible to win an AWESOME award medallion.
Age Groups: Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers of the 3.4 Mile Course in the following age brackets: 5 – 9, 10 – 14, 15 – 19, 20 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 – 69, 70+.
Overall Winners: A medal and prize will be awarded to the overall male and overall female finisher of the 3.4 Mile Course.

The Arc Grand Prix Run at Watkins Glen International is an annual charity race for The Arc of Schuyler. Proceeds from this event directly impact the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Arc of Schuyler and Watkins Glen International have partnered since 2014 to host this exciting footrace on the 3.4 mile internationally acclaimed motor racing track in Watkins Glen, New York located in the heart of the Finger Lakes region.
The Arc Grand Prix Run is held in conjunction with Watkins Glen International Opening Weekend. The public is welcomed to celebrate the opening of WGI for the season by participating in the run and other opening weekend activities.

April is a great time of year to enjoy the Watkins Glen area. If you're travelling a distance for The Arc Grand Prix Run at Watkins Glen International, consider making this a weekend trip. There's great places to stay, great places to eat, and lots to do!
April 3 is Friday on Franklin - A Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce Event
Enjoy tastings of local products during this fun (and delicious) event series on the first Friday of every month from 5 - 8 pm in downtown Watkins Glen, sponsored by Chemung Canal Trust Company. Live music rounds out the experience. Join in the fun! The cost to participate is just $10 and includes a souvenir wine glass. To participate, simply stop by the Watkins Glen Visitor Center (214 North Franklin Street in Watkins Glen) at the start of the event to purchase an event ticket. This event takes place rain or shine. Don’t let a little rain or cold keep you away. All tastings take place inside our downtown shops and it’s important to get out and support them year-round!
A great reason to stay the night in Watkins Glen the night before the race!
