My Story…
I'm excited to once again participate in RUN FOR PROMISE, in the Virtual Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. THIS YEAR, I will be participating as part of a MARATHON RELAY TEAM with my friends: Brett, Herbie & Tizziana!! (we each run 10.55km totalling 42.2km) on OCTOBER 10th.
AS WELL AS running (or walking) a 5KM with two amazing women in the Glamorgan community, Denise & Krystyne (plus others!) on OCTOBER 18th. ALL MONEY DONATED goes to UrbanPromise Toronto, and the work we continue to do together in Toronto Community Housing neighbourhoods.
Our Marathon Relay team will run together on October 10th, but we can receive donations until the end of October! I have been serving at UrbanPromise Toronto for 15 years, and recently launched our new site of CAMP TRUTH in the Scarborough community of Glamorgan. I love the people there, and am excited to continue to grow UPT there & beyond!

Children living in Toronto Community Housing want what any kid wants...

>lure of drugs
>threat of violence
Which can make them feel unworthy, defeated, angry, hopeless.
BUT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE HOPE, AND EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW JESUS-THE AUTHOR OF HOPE ITSELF.
