My Story…
I am discovering that people are not aware of ALL that Silent Voice does. Some people think it's a hearing organization serving the Deaf community - it's not that; or a summer camp - we're more than that; or just in Toronto - we've grown. Silent Voice provides services to Deaf adults; Deaf newcomers to Canada; Deaf parents; Deaf youth, children and infants; their families. Silent Voice is a Deaf organization with vast majority Deaf staff making decisions and running programs for members of the Deaf community. Silent Voice thrives on meeting the needs to those it serves; identifying and filling gaps; making connections to make sure no Deaf child falls through the cracks; providing education to connect people. We are committed to equity, diversity and inclusion. We are intolerant of oppression. BLACK LIVES MATTER; INDIGENOUS LIVES MATTER!
