My Story…
I'm very excited to participate in RUN FOR PROMISE for the first time, in the Virtual Scotibank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. THIS YEAR, I will be participating in the 10 km walk/run! ALL MONEY DONATED goes to the amazing ministry of , UrbanPromise Toronto, and the work they continue to do in Toronto Community Housing neighbourhoods. Wynter and I will be walking/running the 10 km throughout the month of October, but we can receive donations until the end of October! This is my wifes first year serving at UrbanPromise Toronto as a Ministry Supervisor and I'm so excited for what Jesus has in store this year in the Rexdale Community!

Children living in Toronto Community Housing want what any kid wants...
>To be known, accepted and valued.
>To become just like their role models.
>To dream.
They're up against some tough realities...
>material poverty
>lack of resources
>destructive cycles
>broken families
>lure of drugs
>threat of violence
Which can make them feel unworthy, defeated, angry, hopeless.
BUT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE HOPE, AND EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW JESUS-THE AUTHOR OF HOPE ITSELF.
