My team
I am excited to ride in our virtual event...I usually have to work at the event.
As you know I have participated in the GROWLING BEAVER gravel ride in support of PARKINSON’S for the past 5 years, my son Jesse rides with me as well and Helen has volunteered at one of major rest stops on route and it continues to be one of our favorite causes.
A few colleagues of mine (bubble buddies) have made the decision to create a team Pedal PUSHERS CYCLING to ride in support of PARKINSON CANADA. We expect 12 individuals will take part in an 85 Kilometer ride late in September to do our best to continue to recognize this event and raise funds for this important cause, our goal is $5000 and has been scaled back from previous years.
