My Story…
Affordable housing is a major problem in the KW area. "Now nearly 80 per cent of the ownership housing units available are only affordable for the 35 per cent of Kitchener households that have high income." (https://www.kitchener.ca/en/city-services/affordable-housing-strategy.aspx) Our region is one experiencing rapid growth. I don't want to live in a community where having a roof over your head is a luxury. The funds raised by The Crossing Trek will go directly towards an affordable housing project. If you have the means, please consider donating, or join us on the trek yourself.
