The 2020 Kelowna Wine Country 5km, 10km and Half Marathon have gone virtual due to the implications of COVID-19 and the inability to secure postponed date for 2020 based on the unknown restrictions that will be in place for the coming months. While a virtual run offers a different experience we believe that it will still create the community event feel during a time and allow our runners to still have a goal to train for.
Virtual Run. Registration includes:
- t-shirt
- finisher medal
- bottle of wine
- chance to win over $1000 in prizes
- vouchers, coupons and product from our partners
- 20% discount to our 2021 run (codes emailed fall 2020)
- virtual warm-up by the teams that were going to warm you up on June 28th (this will be emailed to you in advance as well as will be in our new facebook event, join the event here)
- the route maps for the Kelowna Runs will be shared with registrants if you want to do the exact run (sent after June 1)
- and more fun engagement items to come :)
In 2021 we look forward to welcoming everyone back for an on-site in person run.

The Kelowna Wine Country Half Marathon accentuates the amazing beauty of the Okanagan Lake and the surrounding valley. The course offers eye-popping vistas along the route and runs through scenic county roads, landmarks, greenways and lakefront parks, finishing in Waterfront Park for the trademark Wine, Beer, Cider & Music Festival. It’s hard to imagine a more scenic and engaging course, anywhere.
