Hello Sharin' O' the Green 2020 registrants, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters. It is with heavy hearts that we announce our decision to cancel Sharin' O' the Green 2020.
As the response to the COVID 19 virus has been rapidly changing, we have been following various international, national, and local developments closely. We now know that most local university campuses are either closing or moving classes to online instruction, school districts are discussing similar plans, and many large events throughout the country are being cancelled as a preventative measure in response to the rapid spread of the virus. Locally, we know that Colorado has been declared to be in a state of emergency by the Governor and that many organizations are cancelling conferences, events, and minimizing social contact in other ways. This information has forced us to change our direction in regards to the race.
Though we regret that this decision is a reality, we are committed to doing our part to safeguard the health of our entire community. As an organization rooted in prevention philosophy, we make this decision in the interest of public health and thank you in advance for your understanding. As we have shared in much of our messaging, because of our commitment to serving the youth of our community and due to our status as a non profit organization, we are not able to issue refunds to event participants.
Now for the good news: dollars that have already been committed to the organization through this event WILL be used to further our important work of supporting community youth through high quality mentoring services! Every dollar contributed to our organization matters to the youth we serve and we are grateful for the support we have received. In spite of the financial impact this decision will have on our financial plans for 2020, we remain dedicated to our youth and hope you appreciate being a part of supporting them. Please stay tuned for email communication in regards to how you may be able to celebrate Partners in the absence of Sharin' O' the Green in a safe, "non event" manner.

Join us for a 5K Race and celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Fort Collins
Like us on
Gather your friends, round up your finest festive attire and show your Irish pride to support a cause that helps change lives. The 2020 race will be held in City Park, Fort Collins. After the race, head downtown with fellow runners to enjoy the Fort Collins St. Patrick's Day Festivities.
Adult Registration includes a timed bib, running waist belt, AND a free beer from Odell Brewing Co.
Youth Registration, for kids 17 years and under, includes a timed bib and running waist belt. Youth Registration is only $10!
Joining us with small children? Youth 12 years and under can participate for free in our Shamrock Scurry. Their is no registration required, just show up on race day! Scurry begins at 8:00 AM.

Registration, merchandise purchases and donations go directly to helping us serve local youth through the power of mentoring. All Registration costs are non-refundable.**Day-of Registration prices increase $5 per person.**

Partners Mentoring Youth Mission
Partners Mentoring Youth MISSION: To support one-to-one mentoring relationships between positive adult role models and youth facing challenges in their personal, academic or social lives.
All funds raised through this event directly support local youth. Learn more about our programming here.
Looking for other ways to support Partners Mentoring Youth beyond your race registration? Here are more ways:
1. Become a Sharin' O' the Green Fundraiser: Promote your participation in the race and ask friends and family to support you and local youth mentoring! Help us achieve our goal to raise $2,500 through peer fundraising.
2. Become a Partners Mentoring Youth Donor: Consider giving a financial gift to Partners Mentoring Youth and be the difference in the lives of local youth!

FAQ
Q: Will there be Day-of Registration?
A: We encourage everyone to register online by midnight Wednesday, March 14th to ensure a spot. Day-of Registration will run from 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM on Saturday, March 16th, or until we reach capacity. Day-of Registration will increase to $40/Adult Registration, $15/Youth Registration and $35/Person when registering as a team. Sign-up early!
Q: What if the weather is bad? Will the race be canceled?
A: Rain, snow or sun, we still run! Please decide on your participation based on your own circumstances and remember that all participants run at their own risk. In the event of catastrophic conditions, we do not issue refunds.
Q: Do I have to register my child for the race?
Q: Do I have to register my kid(s) for the Shamrock Scurry?
Q: When does the course need to be clear?
A: By 10:00 AM. If there are still participants on the course, we cannot ensure safety measures will be available.
Q: How do I get my free Odell Beer?
Q: Can I bring my dog?
Q: Can I push a stroller?
A: Yes! This is a family friendly event and we believe in starting Sharin' O' the Green racers young! If you're a fast stroller, please be cautious and remember we have an award for the Fastest Stroller. Please line up towards the sides and back.

Reminder: you can also pick up your packet on race day at the "Packet Pick-Up" tent from
7 AM - 8 AM
Teams
Participating as a team is a great way to both save a little cash on registration and participate with friends, family or colleagues! Teams must have 4 or more participants. Join the fun by giving your team a creative name, wearing coordinating costumes and of course - cheering one another on to the finish line. Prize for the largest team & top fundraising team!
