11th Annual Hot Pursuit
Navian Hawaii, formerly Hospice Hawaii, will be hosting its 11th Annual Hot Pursuit on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Waterfront Plaza. This ‘Amazing Race’ style event will include teams of 2-6 racing through Kakaako, cracking clues and performing fun physical tasks, all while raising funds for a great cause!
Over the last 40 years, we've journeyed with thousands of patients and their families, bringing hope, reducing fears, and impacting lives at the end-of-life. Now as Navian Hawaii, we provide care for every life journey. Our organization is comprised of two distinct service lines: Navian Hospice Hawaii, serving hospice patients, and Navian Integrated Care Hawaii, serving patients who are still receiving curative treatment.
The purpose of Hot Pursuit is to align with National Healthcare Decisions Day in April and start conversations about the importance of advance care planning. It also educates the community about end-of-life care and raises much needed funds to support our mission. Some areas that require funding include: individualized nursing care, medical supplies and equipment, pain and symptom management, complementary therapies, grief support, and Hawaii’s only specialized pediatric program.
Each individual must register and sign the waiver to participate in the race! Each team must pledge to raise a minimum of $250.
