My Story…
Over the last year the RMH has been such a blessing to our family. Within his first year of life, my sweet nephew Emmett underwent two heart surgeries. After complications from his first one, my sister's family spent many months at the RMH in Edmonton, and more recently, several weeks at the RMH in California while there for Emmett's second surgery. Our family is so grateful that places like the Ronald McDonald House exist to provide a home away from home for families while they go through times like this. RMHC Alberta is so excited to announce our very first virtual run! I'm running and fundraising to support the families who need to stay at a Ronald McDonald House in Alberta.
In 2019, RMHC Alberta served families from 194 communities across Alberta.
The Houses in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Medicine Hat are not a nice to have; they are a must have. 1 in 4 Canadians knows someone who has needed to rely on a Ronald McDonald House. I'm lacing up my shoes in support of those families, support me in my efforts to Hustle for the House!
I invite you to join me on this journey; I'm going the distance to run, but need your help to go the distance for RMHC families who need your support now more than ever.
