As a volunteer at Step Up 2019, I was energized by the participants who ran/walked past my location. It was at that time that I told myself I would be participating in the 2020 event.
This year, my husband Jamie and I are planning to walk the 5km. I'm so excited that he's joining me for this event.
As an employee of Cameco, I'm proud that our Company has stared the conversation about mental health. It's so silent and invisible at times that it's easily overlooked by our friends, family and colleagues.
The bottom line is, Mental Health affects EVERYONE. There is no one person on this planet that hasn't been impacted by a mental health related issue or concern. That's why it's important.
Help us raise awareness of the importance of self-care, compassion, self-compassion, acceptance, and understanding. Let's break down barriers.
If we step up, one by one and one step at a time, we can make this a better place to live, grow an play!
