Each child that is entered in the Adventure Bay PureKids Triathlon and Duathlon events are awarded a Finisher Medal, T-Shirt, Bathing Cap, FREE Adventure Bay Pass.
Plaques are awarded to the Top Three finishers in each age category (exception 3-5 age group) Finish times will be posted for all age groups.

We will be making improvements to our timing this year as we will provide a camera recording each child's image as they cross the finish line.
ChipTime Results will be on site early to test the timing mates and ensure accurate record of all finishing times.
Because of Leamington's race cancelation things will be changing with regard to our awards structure. We will let everyone know as soon Pure Flavor makes a decision. Please go to PURE-FLAVOR.COM/PUREKIDS for updates and changes that will be taking place from Pure Flavors support of these events. Meetings are hard to set up right now so give us some time to sort things out. We still plan of putting on a great event for your child as we did in past year's.
Our JULY DATE has not been approved by The City of Windsor but we will let everyone know in May if this event is a go. Please hold off in signing up your child until we send out another email to all the kids from last year. I have set things up so that you cannot sign up for Adventure Bay until things are a go.
UPDATE: We have made the decision to cancel our two Pure Kid's events this year because of Civid-19 virus epidemic . XXXXXX To the parents that have registered their child to one of our events you will be contacted by Laura Ryan our registration head and you will be asked if you want a refund or defer your registration to next year's events. XXXXX
Laura and raceroster will be working together to make sure that people that request a refund will get one, but expect that it may take a period of time. The refund will be issued.

Mission:
Our mission at the end of each race year is to raise important funds for our charity of choice. Those two charities will be the Canadian Mental Health Association and Windsor Kids Sport. Applications are available to download, plus we also have applications available at many locations such as the YMCA, Windsor Aquatic Centre and WFCU Centre pool and the Running Factory.
All our paper applications and our RaceRoster.com site makes it easy for people to raise monies for these charities. Have a look to see the benefits of getting pledges as each child can get in free of charge or receive other pledge gifts according to amount raised.

The WFCU Centre is a fantastic location which allows us to provide a safe, closed course (no vehicle traffic) for our participants.

Funding:
All funding this year will come from registration fee's and Sponsorship fee's. While it is our goal each year to keep our registration fee as low as possible we have had to make change to our registration model.Our events will now be sanctioned events with Triathlon Ontario. Their was a need for change as last year for the first time our insurance provider charged us $3,500 for both days at the Tecumseh Triathlon Weekend. Those charges cannot be absorbed again this year. You may pay a little more to have our events sanctioned, but our insurance cost will drop down to a level that we can still hold our events. We have one of the best kids triathlon events in Ontario each year and that is because we all work very hard to make each child's experience great.
