RACE DAY SEPTEMBER 13, 2020
HALF MARATHON | 10MILER | 5K
Race For A Soldier is more than a run through the scenic Pacific Northwest. This is a race run for hope, for support and a better future for the men and women that serve our country and our communities. This is a race founded by a woman who lost her beloved soldier son whose struggles with PTSD and TBI cut his life short just one day out of the VA hospital. Sadly, his story is not unique.
As heavy as this burden might seem, as monumental as this epidemic is, we believe we can make a difference. The Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation knows that our soldiers, first responders and firefighters need our help. We are creating an epidemic of hope through strength-based programs that are designed to help them rise again, remain strong and better prepared for what lies ahead. Communities like ours rely on their bravery and courage to protect us. Race For A Soldier is our anchor of hope, our way to show gratitude, support and raise awareness.
When you support the 10th ANNUAL RACE FOR A SOLDIER - whether you run, walk, volunteer, donate, simply watch or all of the above - you are what we affectionately call our “compassionate allies”, making a difference in the lives of those who bravely protect and serve our country and communities. They don’t ask for help but we can give it. Enjoy what notably has become the most inspirational and moving morning in the PNW and SIGN UP NOW!
