My Story…
As many of you know I have been suffering with migraines since i was 15 years old. The stigma of a migraine being "just a headache" is so far from reality. Migraines are a neurological disease that affects millions of people across the globe. The sad thing is... there is no reason "WHY" and no cure.
During my migraine attacks I typically loose vision in one eye, see "Zigzags" (Aura), have vertigo (spinning) attacks, and on BAD days we've thought I was having a stroke (I lost all function on my right side , slurring my words, & my "smile" drooping). These attacks can last 4 hours upwards of a week.
I want to do everything I can do help fund migraine research so if my daughter ever suffers from these horrible "headaches" she has more understanding & support than I did!
