Our volunteers help make sure that the participants and supporters have a safe and enjoyable time at the event.

And, we love student volunteers! We encourage students to get involved and participate as volunteers. Westside will provide a formal letter acknowledging the volunteer hours spent helping with the event.
All volunteers receive a supercool t-shirt and acknowledgment at the ceremony!
AT KELLY'S LOGAN HOUSE:
REGISTRATION/EVENT SET UP*(6:30 AM- 7:30AM): Help committee set up for registration prior to the event
PRE-REGISTRATION*(7:00 AM- 8:30 AM): Help participants who already registered collect their race bib and t-shirt
DAY OF -REGISTRATION*(7:00 AM- 8:30 AM): Help participants who are registering for the race that day. You will help them collect their race bib
AFTER PARTY (8 AM- 9:30 AM): Help set up for the "best after party in town"!
CLEAN UP AND BREAK DOWN (10 AM - 11 AM): Help break down and clean up from the event
ON THE RACE COURSE:
COURSE MARSHAL (7:30 AM-10 AM): Cheer on participants and keep the racers safe by directing pedestrians and cars away from the course when runners and walkers are present. Fun superhero themed signs will be provided to cheer on racers!
WATER STATIONS(8 AM-10 AM): Help keep race participants hydrated and motivated! There are 3 water stations on the race course - 10K Water Station; 5K Water Station, and Finish Line Water Station.
