26th Annual Louisbourg Race Through Time

Notice: The Louisbourg Race Through Time will be cancelled for this year due to Covid-19.

We are looking forward to hosting our event in 2021 and hope you will be able to join us next summer! The date will be posted once it is confirmed!

Come out and participate in the

"26th Annual Louisbourg Race Through Time: 8 Mile Race!"

Part of the Run Nova Scotia Road Race Series!

Location: Fortress of Louisbourg - the start line & finish line will be located here!

Race starts at 6:00 pm!

Note: Must be on site by 5:30 pm & at the start line by 5:45 pm sharp!

Race Course will be closed at 7:45 pm - Must be finished race by this time!

Kit Pick-up on Race Day from 3:00-5:00 pm at the United Church Hall on Upper Warren Street in Louisbourg

Allow 15 minutes to travel from downtown Louisbourg to Fortress site! Parking available on site!

Guests attending with the runners who are 18 years & over will have to pay a $6.30/person admission fee to the Fortress and is payable when you pick up your race kit on race day. Guests who are 17 years & under will not have to pay a fee.

Pre-registration Deadline: Monday, August 3rd at midnight ($10 late fee applied after this date)

Online registration closes at 12:00 pm (noon) on Friday, August 7th - no registrations accepted after this time or on Race Day!

This event has a maximum capacity of 225 participants

Please Note: No refunds or deferrals!

Fish Chowder Meal will be provided as the runners finish the race (vegetarian soup meal option also available). Awards will be presented at 7:45 pm

Limited showers available on site!

Social to follow the race at the Fortress until 10:00 pm with entertainment & cash bar available!

First Place Awards will be presented in the following categories (male & female): Open, Junior, Senior, Masters, Senior Masters, Golden Masters & Platinum Masters

"Myles Burke Memorial Award" will be presented to the Top Local Male & Female

This will be a Chip Timed Event!
