My Story…
Please help me in supporting the Sexual Assault Centre of Brant. I was saddened when I heard the SAC Brant had to cancel their annual fundraiser. In order to do my part I will give you a cloth face mask for every $10 you donate to my fundraising page. I am planning to walk from Glen Morris to Brantford and if I reach my second fundraising goal of $2500 I will walk over 3 days from Cambridge to Hamilton. My mom participated in the walk before and I was planning to do it with her this year. I first became involved with SAC Brant when I was in Gr.12 and organized an overnight retreat for 30 students on equity and invited SAC Brant to speak about the No More Project. In third year of university I became more involved with the No More Project as an ambassador and on the youth advisory committee. Sexual Assault is an important issue that has effected the lives of many people I love. Supporting the SAC Brant is even more important than ever due to the impact Covid 19 has on sexual violence.
