IMPORTANT UPDATE TO 2020 CHARITY MOTORCYCLE RIDE: THIS EVENT IS NOW VIRTUAL - JULY 1st to JULY 31st 2020!
The 16th Annual Charity Motorcycle Ride has moved from an in-person event that was to take place on May 9th 2020 to a virtual online event that will be taking place for the entire month of July 2020 (July 1st to July 31st)!
Here is how it will work:
- Register online to be a part of this event. Registration fee is $25 and all funds raised for this event will go directly to our unfunded Recreation programs for the children and youth of Lansdowne. Your help is needed more than ever! Collect pledges from family, friends, coworkers, neighbors etc. to help us reach our goal. Everything will be available to you online, and once registered, you will be provided with a link to send to others to raise funds.
- Your goal is to ride 150km for the entire month of July. Please note, you can ride as much or as little as you like! Ride on your own time, your own schedule and wherever you would like. Stay tuned for possible locations you can ride to, an on-line raffle, as well as different ways to win additional prizes!
We appreciate your patience while we work out the final details of this event, as well as your continued support to Lansdowne. This event could not happen without you! Please contact Candace at the information below with any questions. "See" you in July! Don't forget to take lots of pictures and post to your social media, tagging us and using our #LCCVirtualRide and #rideforthekids hashtags!

The Annual Charity Motorcycle Ride in support of Lansdowne Children's Centre Foundation - 2020 AMBASSADORS
2020 CMR Ambassadors
Isaias is a 16 year old young man who is currently experiencing his second year of high school. He is super creative and talented…his goal is to be a game designer when he grows up. (How cool is that??) Isaias loves to do voice impersonations, loves to learn new things and is described as compassionate, loving, caring and funny. He is always eager to help those around him and many of his successes can be attributed to the years of time spent here at Lansdowne Children’s Centre.
Gabriel is 13 years old (14 years old this Summer), and is preparing for Grade 9 this coming September. Much like his brother, Gabriel is a sponge and enjoys learning new things. Gabriel is constantly pushing himself to meet goals and his dream is to one day become a paleontologist. (Also super cool!) Gabriel is described as outgoing, funny, caring and loving. Like his brother Isaias, Lansdowne has been a huge puzzle piece in propelling him forward to the success her is today.
WELCOME AND THANK YOU
TO OUR AMBASSADORS!
Help make a difference in the lives of thousands of children and youth with special needs. Your participation in this event helps these children reach their full potential and enjoy opportunities to fully participate in our community.
Thank you for putting big smiles on so many little faces!
* Also a special thanks to Street Seen Media for helping us promote on buses and in the bus terminals! *
