My Story…
After receiving word from my surgeon, Dr. Kevin Condict, that I had severe osteoarthritis in both knees and would be needing them both replaced, I set a surgery date for January 2019. Following the surgery, I committed to 3 months of rehab at Methodist, as well as revisiting my work out program with my PT. While there have been some minor set backs along the way, I have been able to resume all activities that I once had to eliminate. I will eventually get the right knee replaced knowing the nature of my condition as well as knowing I have a superior team of doctors, nurses, PTs and ATs at Methodist Sports Medicine to help me along the way. I am excited to be able to participate in this years Metal Walk/Run and look forward to celebrating the highs and lows of the recovery process as I embark on my first 5k since surgery. Thank you MSM staff, and thank you to Derek Stephenson (PT) whom I see weekly.
