Great Australian Cross Country Challenge - Clubs Registration

How does my school Register?

We have two options for schools. Their students can either enter as an individual for $10 per person or, you can enter your own school and make it free for your students.

Prices are based on total school population.

• 1-99 students: $100
• 100 – 499 students: $200
• 500 – 999 students: $500
• 1000+ students: $1000

Clusters

If you are associated with a zone or regional representative group, we can happily liaise with you regarding a bulk entry for all schools as well as re-creating your pre-existing physical carnival, virtually. Common examples might be Combined Independent or Catholic School Associations or other forms of inter school competition.

House points?

Who doesn’t love the house cup? If you would like your school students to be able to enter this competition and represent one of their four houses for the coveted house cross country trophy in 2020, simply register your school above and someone will be in contact with you to arrange :).

Rules

• Each student must use the Official Event App – RunKeeper.
• Each student must have parental permission through signing up to enter.
• Each student must have their guardian or School Teacher accompany or overview their participation in the event.
• Each student must run the nominated distance and send proof via online results to ensure it is valid.
• Times need to be ratified by official administration who have discretion if they feel someone hasn’t followed the outlined procedure or process.
• Gradients will vary depending on location. This is part of the virtual experience.

REGULATION/ SAFETY

• Each student’s information is stored and privately secured in line with Federal/ State government Legislations.
• Duty of care for anyone participating at level is required.
• Students or parents who don’t wish for their times/ information to be public can submit via email.
• Any run that is deemed to have taken place in dangerous area will automatically be disqualified.

Student Challenge

An opportunity to get moving! This non competitive section aims to get you moving for your school. You can compete over 2km or 5km.

Student Championship

For competitive runners. This section will incorporate the Australian Cross Country Championships for athletes aged 5-19 yrs. Compete for the first (and potenially only) virtual Australian Cross Country Championships
