Mike Goepp is a brother, a son, a hard worker, an avid soccer player, an all-around good guy; but most importantly, an incredible friend. He has a gift for bringing people together and helping others feel connected to something larger than themselves. Though Mike is no longer physically with us, his spirit lives on in everyone who knew him.

After Mike passed in 2018, his family and friends came together to carry on his legacy by hosting "5K Mike's Way", a virtual race to raise funds for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Soccer Foundation of Charlotte. Both of these charities carry out work reflective of Mike’s love for life and soccer. (GO Arsenal!)

Race Details

1. Register for the race and we'll ship you a T-shirt/items based on your registration level.

2. Create your personal fundraising page. Spread the word and raise funds for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Soccer Foundation of Charlotte and earn extra raffle tickets towards a chance to win a week long stay to St. Augustine Beach and Tennis Resort in St. Augustine Florida

3. Run, jog, or walk 3.1 miles (5k) whenever and wherever you want during the weekend of October 2-4.

4. Submit your time to the Race Roster results page before midnight on October 4, 2020.

5. Register by September 11th to guarantee your T-shirt and we will contact you regarding pickup/shipping details.

How to Earn Additional Raffle Tickets

1 raffle ticket for every $25 you get donated to your page

A limited number of bobbleheads will be raffled on the last day of the race (Oct. 4th), so earn additional raffle tickets to increase your chances of taking one home!
