2020 Virtual Kisco 5K

The 7th Annual Kisco 5K in September will be a VIRTUAL 5K.

The format for the 2020 VIRTUAL Kisco 5K will be much different than prior years. Registered runners will run and time a 5K on their own between September 1 - 13th, and then will need to upload their time to our page by 5pm on September 13th. There will be NO road closures, NO official start time, NO official timing, and NO official race course. Prizes will NOT be awarded by times, but instead awarded by lottery and for more creative achievements (details on those to come). Although there will not be an official course, we plan to be out in Leonard Park and around Mount Kisco the morning of Sunday, September 13th to cheer on runners and offer water breaks (following CDC guidelines) for those who choose to run their 5K that morning.

Proceeds from registration this year will go to supporting some of our Mt. Kisco local healthcare and essential workers (Interfaith Food Pantry, Northern Westchester Hospital, Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corp, Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department, Neighbor's Link, and the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester). We have also enabled a fundraiser option where registrants can donate additional funds to these organizations should they choose. Registration will not include a T-shirt this year, but T-shirts can be purchased separately. Registration deadline to get a T-shirt is August 31st. Race registration (without a T-shirt) will stay open until September 13th at 4pm. Deadline to submit your 5k time is September 13th at 5pm. Prizes will be awarded on September 14th.
