Ralphy’s Retreat Animal Sanctuary

Founded in 2003, Ralphy’s Retreat is a registered not for profit animal Sanctuary in beautiful Norfolk County. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for abandoned, neglected, and abused pot-bellied pigs. Our sanctuary is also home to horses, donkeys, guinea pigs, ducks, cats and dogs. We work hard to increase public awareness of the humane treatment of animals, and provide education programs to children and adult groups. We are also proud to offer human-animal experiences to individuals, families, and community groups. 

Unlike many dog and cat rescue organizations, most of our pigs stay at the sanctuary and we are not able to recoup food, supply, building, or veterinary costs with offsetting adoption fees. We rely heavily on the kindness of our pig loving community and their generous donations. 

Our animals are hoping we can raise $3000 with our virtual 5k to help financially with their ongoing care and veterinary bills.
