Run for DEWC!
The Downtown Eastside Women's Centre (DEWC) operates a Drop-in Centre, 24-hr Emergency Shelter, and respite spaces for women in the Downtown Eastside, a community characterized by extreme poverty and marginalization. During COVID-19, DEWC continues to offer practical support to over 500 women and children daily, offering safe spaces, basic needs, and support services, which enable women to make long-term changes.
With every pledge to DEWC, you are helping connect women to a continuum of care that builds their capacity for empowerment and self-sufficiency. Every donation helps!
