Ads Up Canada works to provide an alternative pathway and durable solution to refugees who have been indefinitely detained by the Australian government on Manus (Papua New Guinea) and Nauru. Held in detention for over years in extremely poor conditions, these persons sought asylum due to religious or political persecution in their home countries, ethnicity, or Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression, and Sex Characteristic (SOGGIEST). WE’RE COMMITTED TO HELPING THEM FIND A HOME IN CANADA. In partnership with volunteers and organizations across Australia and Canada, Ads Up Canada supports the resettlement of hundreds of refugees detained on Manus and Nauru, giving hope of a new life and permanent home to refugees who were once forgotten.
