My Story…
Remember back before the pandemic? I was in a training group at the gym, had actual muscles and could run laps. 16 months later? It's amazing how it all disappears when you repeat "I'll train tomorrow morning for sure!" for 500 days... but don't.
But! (Or Butt! of which I have none, anymore. The tomato is more impressive.) What will get me in gear again? Raising funds to support the fantastic work UP supports at CFS! This is a great organization doing impactful, innovative work in Calgary and I hope you'll support my 5K run (okay, it'll most likely be a run-walk) with whatever donation you feel you can manage right now.
I can't say enough good things about CFS. Your support will help so many people access much-needed supports like rapid-access, affordable counselling or the chance to finish high school or get a GED on their way to the future they dream of. AND it will get me out of bed every day to make sure I can actually make that 5K run...

Many Calgarians face barriers to getting an education. CFS and UP provide no-cost academic, social, and emotional support to young and adult learners looking to graduate. We serve anyone who would benefit from a safe, supportive classroom - regardless of where they come from, who they choose to love, how much money they have, or where they go to pray. We invite you to support your community for success in school and build strong families.
