OUR FINISH LINE SAYS ALS DONE!
THANK YOU for vising my Falmouth Road Race Fundraising Page!
THANK YOU for visiting my fundraising page for the 2021 Falmouth Road Race. This year, I'm proud to be running once again in honor of my Uncle Bob and all of those who have lost their lives to ALS - as well as in support of all of those living with ALS. All funds I raise will go directly to ALS ONE. I'm so grateful for your support!
WHAT IS ALS ONE? ALS ONE is an unprecedented partnership, founded by Kevin Gosnell, of the world’s leaders in ALS from Massachusetts General Hospital, UMass Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, ALS Therapy Development Institute, and CCALS. Together, they have joined forces on a shared Science Plan. An approach to a disease to this extent has never been taken. They have committed to finding a treatment or cure for ALS by the year 2020, while improving the care model for those living with ALS now.
ONE GOAL: Identify a breakthrough treatment or cure for ALS by 2020 and improve the care now for those battling ALS.
ONE TEAM: Dr. Robert Brown Jr., MD, DPhil UMass Medical Center, Dr. Merit Cudkowicz, MD, MSc Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Steve Perrin, Ph.D. ALS Therapy Development Institute, Dr. Nazem Atassi, MD Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. James Berry, MD Massachusetts General Hospital, Ron Hoffman, Founder and Director Compassionate Care ALS (CCALS)
