My Story…

My first race (almost 15 years ago) was run for a charity.  I love to run, but running with the only desire to hit a speed or distance goal is not for me.  That's why I love the Run For A Reason Program -- I need to know that this hard work is going to benefit OTHERS as much as it will benefit me.   

I will be supporting the mission of the Urban Impact Foundation as I run the 2021 Pittsburgh Marathon.  This faith-based nonprofit is focused on the holistic (academic, spiritual, physical and social) development of at-risk youth on the North Side of  Pittsburgh.   Young lives and their families are being positively impacted and I'm proud to be part of it!   Please consider supporting me!!
