We are excited to offer participants the ability to track their run with the Runkeeper app. Inspired by World Bee Day May 20th, 2021 - choose your own route and run anytime before June 30th, 2021. Each runner will receive free sunflower seeds to plant this summer and will also be awarded with a personalized finisher certificate once you complete the race! Did we mention there's also optional swag available for purchase?!

What is the Save the Bees Virtual Run all about?
The idea originated as a way to raise awareness for the bees. Inspired by World Bee Day on May 20th, 2021, let's run for the bees! All participants will be mailed a package of sunflower seeds to plant in their garden to attract bees.
How do I participate in this virtual event?
Register for the virtual event and run your sub-event distance on a route of your choice, sometime between May 1 and June 30th 2021. You will track the time and distance of your race virtually using the Runkeeper app or another smart device and upload your time. More instructions will follow to ensure your setup to have a seamless virtual run experience.
When is race day?
Race day is 100% unique to you. On race day, choose your route and track your race. You will have until June 30th 2021, to complete your race.
When will I get my seeds and any merchandise?
Seeds and merchandise will be sent separately. We estimate that you will receive your seeds and any swag ordered about two weeks after registration. If you have any questions please send us an email.
