Christmas coffee, wine, lunch?
Thanks for clicking the link. What a year we have had…and yet we are still here; standing strong, looking for a better way forward for ourselves, our family and community.
If you are reading this you likely know I am a fan of good coffee, red wine and hearty lunch salads – and we’ve likely shared one or all together and taken turns picking up the tab. You may also know that FAB was unable to host any of our fundraising events this year that enable us to support youth girls in our community through our FAB Girls 5K Challenge Program. My hope is that since we are unable to share a holiday treat together that you’ll make a donation to FAB in an amount equivalent to coffee, a glass of wine or lunch. Your donation is so appreciated and vital in our continued success helping young girls become strong women. Wishing you and your loved ones a safe and happy Christmas and 2021.
Description
Fit Active Beautiful (FAB) Foundation combines the power of sport with a goal setting framework to help youth girls living in lower income neighbourhoods in Hamilton develop the skills and self-confidence to live an empowered life.
Due to COVID restrictions, the 2021 FAB Girls 5K Challenge Program will be run virtually, while still aligning with the principles and lessons of the in-person program. The empowering weekly sessions will inspire youth girls to dream big and adopt that “I CAN” attitude, while promoting physical activity, wellness, and goal-setting skills.
