FUR RONDY, iHEART MEDIA, AND ALASKA AIRLINES PRESENT THE 7TH ANNUAL RONDY DASH

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH, 2021

It’s Rondy DASH Re-imagined! Join in the fun at the 7^th annual DASH! This year has been upgraded to allow safe social distancing and the event is following COVID safety protocols. Grab your friends or family members - dress up in wacky costumes (encouraged but not required), don a mask, and dash around downtown to local businesses and Fur Rondy exhibits. You’ll stop to scan the DASH code and complete fun challenges and photo opps at each checkpoint. Enter to win AMAZING prizes along the way including the GRAND PRIZE: 4 Round Trip Tickets anywhere Alaska Airlines flies!! This year, we will eliminate the physical sign-in and group take-off and instead of having 90 minutes, teams will have 3 hours to complete all of the checkpoints. This allows plenty of time and consideration for social distancing - plus you can stop into some Anchorages best local businesses while you're out and about to grab a snack or beverage to fuel your team or warm up along the way!

This year, we will also be partnering with Food Bank of Alaska to raise money to help local Alaskan families in need! Feeding America estimates that 137,000 Alaskans will need assistance this year. That's a 44% increase from last year due to the pandemic. $1 helps provide 3 meals to those Alaskan families in need. Imagine what $20, $50, or $100 could do for our neighbors!

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

• Register your team below (teams can be 2, 3, or 4 people). You MUST determine a team name that will be your identifier throughout the DASH.
• One person on your team must download the iHeart Radio App on a smartphone - this is how you will be able to participate in the activities at each checkpoint.
• Have a QR Code Reader on your phone - you will scan a QR code at each checkpoint to tell you what the activity is for that checkpoint.
• Prior to the event, you will receive an email with the list of DASH Checkpoints.
• On Sunday, February 28th, your team can complete the checkpoint challenges anytime between 10am - 1pm. The QR codes will only be active during that window of time.
• Winners of prizes at designated checkpoints, including the Grand Prize, will be chosen by random selection of verified entrants and notified on the following business day.
