Help Karen raise money

It was 7 years ago that we had to say goodbye to an amazing father & an amazing man.  Every year, the kids and I always plan something special to honour their Dads memory.  With the pandemic surrounding us & keeping us close to home, we’ve decided to give back to an important part of our journey- Lighthouse (5km Walk)
  Lighthouse was a safe place that my children and I were able to grief without judgement.  My children loved walking through those doors knowing that every single child present, was in the same boat as them.  They felt included, heard and loved in those hardest days of their lives.

COVID has effected so many, and family members have been taken way too early. Lighthouse is a beckon of hope for those children who feel like they’re losing their world. 

 We wear our masks, we stay inside, we don’t visit family but we want to do more.  We want those safe doors of Lighthouse to remain open for those children who are experiencing the hardest journey of their lives.  
This is why we are choosing to walk together to not only remember the Daddy who was taken too soon from us, but for all the grieving children walking through those Lighthouse doors.
