Please consider joining me and other SCAD survivors at the 3rd annual Minnesota 5K SCADaddle Run for Research on September 25th! After going virtual last year, we are ready to go back to an in-person event this year!

My SCAD journey began in 2016, just 6 days after my little girl was born and it has been a rollercoaster ever since. With a reoccurrence that hit 2 years later and ended with emergency triple bypass, I can say that I am always living with the fear of it happening again. A disease this scary should have answers as to why this happens and that's why funding for research is so important. We've made such good strides, but we still have a long ways to go... like figuring out if this is genetic and can be passed down to my kiddos.
