The actual running of the 30th annual Cobscook Bay Road Races has been postponed due to COVID-19. We care deeply for our volunteers, participants and community and made this decision for the health and safety of everyone. We remain hopefully that we can host a scaled down in-person event but at this point are planning on the virtual social distancing challenge. - Eric Mauricette - Race Director

- Run or walk where ever safe and convenient for you.
- Submit your time to be included in official results on June 5th
- T-shirts available for the first 50 pre-registered, T-shirts mailed by June.
- Practice smart social distancing behaviors, no group gatherings. Read the CDC's guidance.
Run or walk for Down East Hospice Volunteers
For 29 years proceeds have gone to Down East Hospice, the only volunteer hospice program of cost- free comfort care for the terminally ill, the grieving, and their families throughout Washington County, Maine since 1981. Down East Hospice is celebrating 40 years of care.
Easy Steps to take part in the challenge
- Register - on Race Roster or print and mail in a form found on website.
- Run or Walk -
- you can run or walk wherever safe and convenient for you. (at home, treadmill, ect)
OR - Run the Cobscook Course (with no support, aid stations, ect)
- you can run or walk wherever safe and convenient for you. (at home, treadmill, ect)
- Results can be added from May 15 to June 5. Official results published on June 6.
- Submit results on the Results page OR email boldcoastrunners@gmail.com with your results
- Read the FAQ from Race Roster on adding your results.
- Consider a Donation to Down East Hospice Volunteers during these challenging times.
