New Hope Dog Rescue's 13th Annual Mutt Strut
Due to COVID-19 we are once again changing the way we do this year's Mutt Strut; It is important for everyone to do all we can to protect our community and we believe that this is the responsible choice for us.
The health and safety of our participants, volunteers, sponsors, and the public at large is always our highest priority.
The good news is, your virtual walk/run can be completed anytime, anywhere, even on a treadmill, starting April 5th!
We ask that anyone registering and fundraising as a team, to please use good judgment and obey social distancing guidelines
With your support and participation, we can all still have fun, and raise money for dogs in need!
Enjoy a 1k, 2k, 3.5k or 5k walk/run with your furry friends
Raise funds to support the dogs!
You can fundraise up until the day of the event but please ensure your pledges are in by June 6th to ensure you're eligible for prizes!
**Top individual earner (adult) gets a prize-must raise at least $500**
**Top individual earner (youth) gets a prize-must raise at least $250**
**Top Fundraising Team (max. 4 people per team) gets a prize--must raise at least $1000

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL EVENT?
A virtual event allows participants to complete the race on their own. You will run or walk the race distance at your own pace and at a time and location of your choosing. You choose your own race day and your own starting line, whether it’s a treadmill, a park or your neighborhood street.
DO I HAVE TO RUN MY VIRTUAL EVENT ON JUNE 6TH?
No, you choose your planned race date. This can be as early as April 5th through June 6th, 2021.
WILL IT BE A SET COURSE OR ONE WE CAN MAKE UP?
Participants will be choosing their own route for the virtual event. It would be unsafe (particularly in these social distancing days) for us to provide a route that all could use at any specific time.

WHAT PARTICIPANT AMENITIES WILL I RECEIVE FOR THE VIRTUAL EVENT?
There will be a virtual gift bag, and prizes for the top pledge earners.
