Glow Run Cancelled‼️

Due to hazardous conditions on the race course, we have made the decision to cancel tonight’s race. We apologize for the inconvenience but the safety of everyone involved is our number one priority. We will be at the Washington Street pavilion at 6:30 tonight for bag pickup. If you are unable to pick up your bag, please let us know and we will arrange to have your bag at any of our six offices. We hate to miss the race this year but we thank you all for your support of the American Cancer Society!

Q&A
Q: If the event is cancelled for any reason, or if I choose not to run due to the weather and/or course conditions, will I receive a refund?
A: Since proceeds from this event are being donated to the American Cancer Society, we will not be issuing refunds. There are also expenses associated with the race (Hiring a timing company, ordering t-shirts, etc.) so we need registration fees to cover those expenses.
Q: If I choose not to run and I registered before the t-shirt deadline, do I still get a shirt and a goody bag?
A: Yes, if you registered before the deadline to receive a shirt, the shirt is yours! We will be at the pavilion handing out race packets July 10 beginning at 6:30 p.m. They can be picked up there or at any of our six office locations beginning July 19 if you are unable to make it to the race. If you need to pick your shirt and race bag up at one of our offices at a later date, please message our Facebook page to let us know where we should have your shirt waiting for you.
Q: What time does the race begin?
A: Race packet pick-up and day-of-race registration begin at 6:30 p.m. July 10 at the Washington Street Pavilion in Bay St. Louis. The one-mile fun run begins at 8:00 p.m. and the 5k begins at 8:30 p.m.



Coast Electric's 6th Annual "Ready, Set, Glow" 5K and One-Mile Fun Run is a family-friendly, evening event located on the beautiful beaches of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Whether you are an advanced runner or a beginner, or simply having some fun, we will be using chipped timing technology to offer you a world-class experience as you enjoy the beautiful sunset and night skies. Come light it up in your best GLOW running outfit or costume as you run along South Beach Boulevard on this out and back course.


Prizes will be awarded to the best individual or group costume! We will have music and activities for the kids and goody bags filled with happies and snacks. Fruit and water will be provided at the finish line. After the event, celebrate your run with everyone at The Blind Tiger as they are providing a keg of beer for Glow Run participants (bib required).


This is a fundraising event and all fees are non-refundable. ALL proceeds from this event go to the American Cancer Society on behalf of Coast Electric's Hancock County Relay for Life team. T-shirts are only guaranteed to participants who register by June 27, 2021.


*We will keep up with COVID-19 safety guidelines and restrictions. Masks will be required before and after all events and social distancing will be encouraged. Hand sanitizers will be provided. All participants are asked to follow guidelines at all times.


** In the event of a threat of tropical weather or severe thunderstorms, we will closely monitor the forecast and provide updates on this page and Facebook (@CEGlowRun). We want to ensure the safety of the participants and our employees and volunteers.
