My Story…

Hello!  Thanks for stopping by.

I am a board member of Volunteer Markham which provides opportunities for students and citizens of all ages to volunteer in support of local charities/not for profit organizations.

Volunteering provides an opportunity for people to develop skills and lasting friendships while contributing to a worthy cause.  I personally have benefited a lot from volunteering, whether was with the Ontario Science Centre Camp, my public school, the Scarborough Boys and Girls club, Junior Achievement, and my condominium board, I have learned a lot and grown as part of each and every experience.  The joy of volunteering is something I believe is a gift that keeps giving in terms of the skills and friendships you gain!

Update: just completed my run and tried to draw a heart with my path (sorry had to paste over the final map with the zoomed in picture of the heart)
