Help Jemima raise money

For participating in 2021 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon

My Story…

Hey friends

I'm back this year to run another 5k to raise a personal goal of $100 in support to raise money for Urban Promise Toronto. It's a non-profit organization that raises money each year to run after-school programs and summer camps for kids in the Toronto Housing Community.

The mission is to reach kids with the love of Jesus, raise strong leaders who would then go out to restore their communities.

Join the team by donating as we work towards the big goal of $100,000 to provide resources and give these kids a safe and comfortable childhood

Description

Children living in Toronto Community Housing want what any kid wants...

>To be known, accepted and valued.

>To become just like their role models.

>To dream.

They're up against some tough realities...

>material poverty

>lack of resources

>destructive cycles

>broken families

>lure of drugs

>threat of violence

Which can make them feel unworthy, defeated, angry, hopeless.

BUT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE HOPE, AND EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW JESUS-THE AUTHOR OF HOPE ITSELF.

Join The Run for Promise Team - Raise funds supporting programs where children are known, accepted and valued by positive role models, providing opportunities to dream.
